COVID Safety

at Margaret's Music Studio

Our number one priority is the safety of our Kindermusik families. We are continuously keeping track of WHO and CDC guidelines, local recommendations and restrictions, and information from the medical community.

We ask our families to follow these guidelines:

  • Stay home if you’re ill, have been traveling, or have encountered someone with COVID-19.

  • All Kindermusik participants over age 2, including all adults, are requested to wear a mask. 2s and 3s may struggle with this, and we ask for your understanding as little ones adjust to this new habit.

  • Wash hands and/or use hand sanitizer before entering the classroom. We’ll have a hand sanitizer station at the door.

  • Each family will sit in a spot delineated by a taped rectangle on the floor. We understand that young children do not socially distance particularly well, and this is a risk all participants must be willing to accept.

  • No drop-ins or make-ups will be permitted. Once restrictions are lifted, you’ll be able to make up missed classes - even from a previous semester, as long as you remain enrolled.

We are doing our part, too:

  • Our educators are fully vaccinated.

  • Class sizes have been reduced

  • Class instruments and props are sanitized between uses, as they always have been

  • The Community House has installed an enhanced HVAC system with an improved air filtration system.

Thank you for your compliance as we make our way through this challenging season. Our wish is that the music we share together will bring rest to all our souls, meaningful connection with one another, and deep joy to all enrolled.
